About
Gladys joined ESSA from the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands Accra, Ghana, where she was the Senior Trade and Private Sector Development Officer in charge of developing strategic trade promotion interventions for Ghana, Liberia, and Sierra Leone. She also advised and monitored economic policy in Ghana to promote Dutch trade and investment objections and priorities. Gladys was also in charge of the embassy's youth entrepreneurship, scholarship, and capacity building programmes.
Prior to joining the embassy, she worked as a Business Development Executive for Ascoma Ghana -Insurance and Reinsurance Brokers, where she created short- and long-term sales goals as well as strategic plans to capitalise on opportunities and ensure market growth and expansion.
Gladys holds a BA in Industrial Design from KNUST as well as an Advance Diploma in Marketing Management and Strategic Management from the Institute of Commercial Management in the UK. She holds a certificate in Public Policy Analysis and Entrepreneurship from the University of Maastricht in the Netherlands, as well as a professional certification in Risk Management from the Insurance Institute of Canada.
